Cirque Du Ciel

“We are delighted to see the return of both AIrfish Circus and Cirque Du Ciel’s youth circus ‘Cirk Hes – NextGen’, to Penlee Park.  This time they bring a combined creative show piece put together to communicate to their audience the love, joy and passion they share for the Circus Arts.

The combined performance is designed to celebrate and share the indefinable magic of Circus that resonates through the group, and to help us reach out to find a new home as a training and learning space, before they lose the ‘Circus Works Devoran’ in February 2024.

Despite a gloomy future at this present time, the performers wanted the focus of the show to be everything that makes them happy and excited about training and performing their chosen disciplines / art forms / skills.  If you can help us find a new home, or you know anyone that could, please contact us via our website www.circusworksdevoran.org we are running out of time!

Cirque Du Ciel is a local grass roots charity that began 20 years ago in Penzance as a small street entertainment group. Last year both Airfish Circus and NextGen were lucky enough to receive a Glastonbury Arts Commission to perform shows in the Big Top at the festival, and this year NextGen return as ‘Cirk Hes’.  This is your chance to see them in action before their Glastonbury shows this year, come along, and support two wonderful pro-active, community based charities (Cirque Du Ciel and Penlee Park Open Air Theatre), and see a great show too.”
