Event Description

Local community group TOUCH Theatre, presents Crying Out Loud, a showcase of 3 dramatic monologues.

Sea Wall by Simon Stephens is a contemporary, serious and compelling piece which deals with belief and grief in a powerful and beautifully moving way, and we have chosen to pair this with the two funniest Bombshells monologues by Joanna Murray-Smith which deal with expectations and renewal in a hilarious and uplifting way.

Alex a thirty something photographer, with a wife Helen and daughter Lucy are holidaying in the south of France, a bride to be (or not to be) and a widow praying for the unexpected. Crying Out Loud gives you a snapshot of three disparate but totally believable lives and invites you into their worlds.

Join us for mesmerising  and memorable performances, that will stay with you long after the night is over.
