Rustle the leaves, pick the apples, peek through the branches and dance with the animals.

Tree is a magical, nurturing soul, the tallest and oldest in her forest. Her roots and branches are a playground for all the woodland animals and birds to dance, weave and fly through. The seasons change, bringing rain and shine, warmth and cold, yet through it all, TREE stays, standing tall and still, providing a haven for the creatures in the wood.

Cscape’s Imaginarium presents TREE a dance theatre adventure for little ones to enjoy, together with their grown-ups. Based on the popular children’s book illustrated by Britta Teckentrupp and written by Patricia Hegarty, TREE combines dance performance, design, music and interactive activities into a multi sensory, live theatre experience for babies to 5 year olds.

Children of all ages with additional needs are also warmly welcomed.

Tree is a highly interactive, participatory performance for very young children and their grown ups, combining dance, theatre and music. Full of tactile props for each child to explore and movements to join in with and themed on the seasons. Tree has been carefully developed, researched and crafted for babies to pre- schoolers, meaning that each moment is appropriately pitched in content, style & duration.

Cscape is an established dance theatre company based in Cornwall with a strong reputation for creating and touring magical work to both indoor and outdoor venues. ‘Tree’ is the first in a series of shows for our Imaginarium project, creating high quality work for 0-5’s.
