Event Description
Based in Perranporth on the North Cornwall coast, Kana is a group of seven women singing original material and reworked takes on folk songs. Known for giving their own twist to familiar pieces and weaving in some fresh ideas, they’ve racked up quite the track record in their first exciting year.
in 2023 they took to the stage at Tunes in the Dunes, The Great Estate and Cornwall Folk Festival, as well as providing support sets for Fisherman’s Friends and Angeline Morrison.
Now working on their debut EP which will be streaming soon, Kana is a band to keep a close eye on in 2024.
